Launch conference

4 June 2024, Liege

The FlashFloodBreaker partnership cordially invites you to join the launch event of its project, funded by the Interreg North-West Europe, on Tuesday 4th June 2024 in Liège. Hosted by the project partner Public Service of Wallonia (SPW), the conference will highlight the approach the FlashFloodBreaker project takes in the 4 coming years to make North-West Europe more resilient against increasing extreme flash flood events. Strongly affected by the July 2021 flooding disaster, the Walloon region has been chosen for this event to learn from an-going flood recovery process. An excursion to affected sites will showcase this recovery process on the practical side.
